Wanted to put Talc on wish list, until I read.....

But... It just don't seem right... I use power on my feet. If i use cornstarch; won't I get Corns???

I use Borotalco all the time on my feet in my combat boots, and before rucksack marches on important bits that need to stay dry - never worried in the least. Then again I'm someone who volunteered to get shot at, so....hmmm. Guess my point is invalid here lol.

 

I know what you mean, foot powder is you friend in the field and on road marches.

 

One of the few good thing I learned in the army that I still do today. Wear a Different Pair of Booths or Shoes Each Day. Thank goodness that all of mine aren't the same make and model anymore!

 

Whhhaaaattt!!?? I use clubman talc every day, a little on my chest and neck. Love the scent and just purchased a 3 pack of 9 oz tubs of it from Amazon. My barber uses it on the back of my neck every time I get a hair cut. Like many before me mentioned, a small amount is not anything you need to worry about. This stuff....at least this brand has been around for a long time and has been looked at by the FDA. Other non name brands might be cause for concern, but I don't think you have to worry about US made/name brand talc powders. I've been using that & baby powder for years and plan to continue to use it and I have asthma. I've had asthma since about age 6 though. Now if the powder caused my asthma to flare up I would toss it. Just my opinion. There is nothing wrong with looking at other sources and making an informed decision.
