Did you choose the Hamilton because of the Swiss ETA movement? I read they are really good and hard to find .
Hamilton held the contract for many of the mechanical watches worn by USA soldiers and pilots in Ww2. It's really because it's an example of a real "tool watch". It's OK if it gets scratched or muddy. It was built for tough going.
I did not know that. I would prefer the tougher one myself especially where I wouldn't be delicate with it . Watches are meant to be worn .
I'm confident MkII is the same. It's their spec version of a ww2 field watch. Sent from my moto z4 using Tapatalk
Was just on Hamilton website . Had to get off as my head was spinning. Way too many watches I want on there . Love the field , navy and Ventura styles . Too many choices .
I'm now on a 24 month watch hold. 2022 I think I may get a vintage Longines. Sent from my moto z4 using Tapatalk

To me, it's elegantly plain with unique color scheme. I wear it whem traveling abroad, Saturday chores, some evening errands. Keeps time very well. Sent from my moto z4 using Tapatalk
