Today's find, an older chrono. Had to reset the dials but they all work. Not familiar with Structure, anyone know of it?
Not sure if it is one in the same as the watch, but Structure was a men's clothing line from the 90's. (Marty McFly's puffy vest was Structure IIRC) I know they merged with the Express sometime about 20 yrs ago. I am pretty sure they have been defunct since not long after the merger.
Dropped my Invicta diver the other day. Figured if I'm going to get a new one I'm finally getting something that looks how I want. Should be here Tues.
hmmmm.... nice watch, but either you day or your date is incorrect. Yes, today is Monday, but it's the 23rd. The last Monday the 24th was in May.
I wouldn't kick that watch outta bed for giving me the wrong date . Its a beauty! Actually, I never pay attention to that function on any of my watches except for my late Father's Bulova . He was a stickler for time/ date syncopation.
Arrived this afternoon. Said to have a standard Seiko movement. Matte face, beigeish-yellow (faux aged) appointments, convex crystal...I like it. I'm no expert on dive watches but I'm very impressed by the lume. Suede (?) band is chunky but nice, I'll try a few different ones though.
@gorgo2 I like the waxed canvas band. The watch looks great! I really like the simplicity. Have you thought of a metal strap/band?
Funny you mention it...I tried it with a vintage expansion band, stainless steel, up til about 10 yesterday morning but switched out. I have worn steel when I lived up north and weather cooled down, but the humidity here traps too much sweat under the metal that I can't stand it, or silicone. Otherwise, metal looks best. Just ordered a cheap variety 4 pack of NATOs.
