I was in the AF 68-74. Loadmasters were issued watches. Don’t know if anyone else was.

I have that one, but it stopped working a few years after getting it.

Does anyone know of a trusted watchsmith/jeweler, who works on Omega Seamasters, Automatics?? Not too expensive. Mine is sick.

It is so hard to get good pic! This Hamilton is a fine watch that still keeps accurate time. 21 jewels, Adjusted, lever set. The jeweling is very nice and the lettering is gold filled. Really is a work of art! Much of the gold has worn through on the gold filled case but, there is still plenty left. Many of these were stripped for the gold. This is a survivor!

Seiko makes a great watch, I absolutely love mine. I have a solar citizen eco drive for my dress watch, otherwise I rarely take off the Seiko. I initially got it as a starter watch to get into the world of watch collecting, but I'm kind of a minimalist and I found that I liked it so much that I had no desire to buy another watch.

Here is an odd one that I can no longer find online. Van Cort Instruments mechanical skeleton watch 17 jewels. It is a little fast and gains about a minute a day. Inexpensive when I got it and I used to carry daily. Nice basic pocket watch for every day. I thought it was a neat watch when I purchased it. I like skeleton watches

My Seiko 5 is a low end daily wearer. Mine is pretty beat up. I wear every day and save my nice Solar for dress. I prefer the mechanical over the Quartz

Waltham from a time when it was known as "American Watch Company" Waltham, Mass. I can't recall how old this one is. I collected a few of these years ago. Bought on Ebay and most of them run. This is a simple 7 jewel working man's watch. Hands are key set and watch is key wound.

Here is another Waltham in a gold case. Basic 7 jewels.
You can see the marks left by people testing for gold content. 20 years warranted is a good case. This is another survivor and it runs.
