Did you try heating the strap with a hairdryer or such after applying the wax? I find it really treats the fabric as it lets the wax penetrate deeper.
I thought about it but no longer have a heat gun or a hair dryer, so I hand warmed it and went with melted wax. Figured I'd try to heat-treat it a little later on. Should end up having the same or similar result either way.
Standard practice is not to wax the inside of the band, right? I don't see it feeling wearable if I do that.
Thanks. My dad and I have been collecting watches for years although I typically wear a mi band 3 most of the time or a Samsung s2..
Even better when your Dad is into watches too. Cool hobby to share . How do you like the new tech watches ? Seem to be more of them around now . I'm a very low tech guy these days , as I get older .
I like the mi band very much because you only have to charge it about once a month which is a lot more convenient than others that are daily. Also I like its features.
My watch of the day, 2009 Bulova. This was my daily watch for years. Never been serviced. Best 275 I've spent on a watch. Sent from my moto z4 using Tapatalk
