I agree Chris. Some materials are soft and durable and love the look. When I bought the Marine star used the band was adjusted to the smallest setting. I have a skinny wrist and it is still tight so I opted for nato. He sent 3 with the watch so it was a win.

Thanks Charlie! Thats the one from the auction that came with 3 Nato straps . My wrist is tiny and the metal band was still too small.

 

Bond strap!

 

The original Bond I believe. The later one used( Daniel Craig)was black and grey.
I have 2 the same . 1 with black rings and the other has chrome which you can see in the pic . I love these straps . Comfortable and nice to look at .

 

Classic! Looks like Bond wore an 18mm strap when a 20mm strap would have fit better. If it's good enough for James...

 

That's an interesting fact about the strap.

 

This is the old workhorse I've worn for work only. I forget when I bought it . My first Ironman lasted over 10 years until I went to change battery and it quit. No shame in that . Go Timex.

Read somewhere that it was the film's director's watch, he let Connery wear it. Don't know if true.

 

And I read it was Connerys watch, it was a prop watch , the truth may never be known.
