Watches - let's see 'em

I read an interview once years ago where broccoli the producer said it was his. In the interview he said they had not gotten the watch for bond when filming started and so he removed the watch from his own wrist and gave it to Connery to wear while filming.

 

Seeing photos of @9nein9's Timex Ironman, I was inspired to wear my G-Shock today. It is a fantastic watch and is tough as nails.

 

Wonder why all the facination with what watch he is wearing anyway? I never really took notice before .

I think divers really got a public attention boost from it that they didn't have before.

Do most people who have them want to wear the watch itself, or do they more want to wear the name Rolex, do y'all think?

 

They look nice but no way I'd pay that much just to tell what time it is . Thats just me I guess .

 

I think its good marketing. Probably most famous people are given one by Rolex just so they can say ' Hey look, the President wears Rolex , you should too'.

I have several and I have them because I like them .. I personally don't care who has one or how much they are worth.... I wear the watches i like and will buy more of the ones i want as they become available.
