Well I do like Special Reserve

 

Clubman Special Reserve(sorry fuzzy and Dave), Lilac vegetal, and Booster Polar Ice. Sure there are many more but its hard to drop $$$ on something that potentially smells like ass or black magic.

 

I am going to have to go with every other aftershave of the week besides SCS Med. Citrus splash that you have put on here.

 

Its not god aweful, but pretty worthless. Ogalla bay rum soap. It smells great. The soap is complete crap.

 

Then you need to bury it.

You mean to say there isn't one thing you have been interested in these past 14 weeks? I think you just enjoy being contrary Ray! So tell us, what do you use besides SCS Med? We'll take a week and discuss it.

 

Oh, my goodness--is it that bad?

 

I haven't really had any products that I would call terrible. Maybe I am not picky, or maybe I just get lucky. One aftershave that I used once and probably won't use again is the Umbro Elete X stuff a guy sold me from England. It is the only aftershave I have had with an atomizer, and I think that was my main problem with it. I spritzed it on my face, felt like nothing was there, tried again and rubbed it around.. just felt weird. Sprayed some in my hands and applied, meh, its ok, but what a pain. I won't ever buy another aftershave with an atomizer. I like my colognes with atomizers and my aftershave without.

 

You know why Pinaud puts shrinkwrap on the caps of Clubman Aftershave? So you can't catch a whiff of it until after you've already purchased it. Then you cannot return it for a refund because the seal has been broken.

Pinaud Clubman smells like hot garbage juice.

 

There's something to be said for this. I agree that AS's don't work as well when atomized. Something about splashing a cupped handful of liquid onto the face and cheeks just seems to work well.

 

You will buy another with an atomizer.

My butt, feet, and everywhere else that is glorious now smells like Ogalla bay rum. They should leave the shaving business and enter the body soap/air freshener business.

I love using the atomizer for my splashes. less waste.

 

FINALLY, I find someone else who thinks so too.

 

Lilac Vegetal absolutely stinks to high heaven.

 

Right outta the bottle, yes it is putrid. But if it works with your chemistry and if you can stand it until it dries, it becomes something more or less pleasant. Clubman never does.
