I had airport food for dinner .. fries loaded with cheddar and blue cheeses, bacon, tomatoes and green onions. Plus a Stella. Yeah, it was good.
Just settling in to a carpy movie on DVD with a G&T and some homemade chocolate dipped almond biscotti.
Today I ate a two granola bars I stored away in my basement freezer and forgot in 2007. They were good.

I was going to make an omelet for breakfast, but changed my mind at the last minute. I had French toast with pure maple syrup, washed down with milk and fresh brewed coffee.
Handmade tortellini filled with cheese, diced chicken fried in garlic-olive oil and white wine, then simmered in cream with fresh Basil and freshly grated manchego cheese (aged 6 months). The sauce is topped off with 3 drops of white truffle oil. Just another pasta night at my house!
Deer burgers? How do those taste!? Last time I had deer it was a bit dried out...but those sound delicious! ::::
I really like them. Deer meat is leaner than beef which means there is a lot less fat in it. You really just make them like you make beef. It's wise to mix a little bit of beef or pork with venison because they don't hold together because of lack of fat in the meat. How do you like your burgers cooked?
On the BBQ! I rarely make my own, but when I do I just use ground beef and season it up until it smells how you want it. Because the taste will follow. I used to cook them on the stove, when we didn't have a BBQ, but now that we do, that grill runs all year. Even in our -40 degree winter (when its that cold, you move quick...lol)
