Martin, I think nearly everyone has had a bad reaction to Bacardi "when they were a kid" at least once or twice
I'm on a virtue kick at the moment, so it was broccoli and stilton soup for lunch, and I'll knock up a lean pork and runner bean surprise for dinner, (the surprise being that I have no idea yet just what I'll do... though it will probably involve something spicy) :sport001
Simmered Black Beans ala NYT. Not bad at all. I may try the Black Bean Chili tomorrow. http://www.nytimes.com/2009/03/10/health/nutrition/09recipehealth.html
Tonight I made crab wraps with lettuce, bacon, and an avocado ranch sauce. Very tasty... but all I really had to say was "bacon", right?
Last night was T-Bone (cooked inside because it's too cold for outside) with garlic mashed yukon gold potatoes. Tonight was angel hair pomodoro. I took pictures, but haven't uploaded them yet.
corned beef bubble & squeek hardly had any of the 2. now im back to yogurt and gatorade. pure luxury.
I hit my target weight a few days ago, but I'm really enjoying all this healthy food. Tonight was another bowl of Black Beans with a good shot of Rooster sauce and a wrap made with Lettuce, a little Mayo, Avocado a few small pieces of Bacon and some grilled Chicken that was left to marinate over night with World Spice's awesome K.C. Tailgaters BBQ rub. http://www.worldspice.com/blends/0386bbqrub-kctailgaters.shtml Truly fantastic!
Yes, yes I do. It was off the molasses episode of Good Eats a couple weeks back. http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/...coffee-marinated-pork-chops-recipe/index.html
Seasoned Turkey burger and fries for my Friday meal. Man you really need to check labels these days. My "premium" baby dill Pickles are a product of India??? What the..? Won't be buying those again.
It's hot out. I'll be making tri tip with rubbed spices and something to go along with it...maybe baked potatoes and corn on the cob.
