Spent the afternoon Making this Vegetable Beef Barley for the Better halF and myself. Included a pic of our new Kenmore Clean Top Convection Oven... Didn't think I would like a Clean top but I love it, and convection cooking is great. Roast beef, Stewing beef Baby carrots, Onion, Celery Garlic, Turnip, Potato, Corn Green Bean, Yellow Bean Thyme, Bay leaf, Barley Salt, Pepper Fresh Bread is a necessity!
Im surfin the forum.....jammin on some cream cheese wontons w/ sweet n sour sauce and some ice cold Coca-Cola life is awesome!
Tonight, we are having broiled lamb chops, with fresh egg noodles, that I made earlier today. Mmmmm...
Went to the folks house tonight and feasted on the Spaghetti with Meat Balls, along with a Spinach salad with vinagrette dressing and buttered sour dough rolls. Tomorrow for the football games I'm getting some hot wings and cold brews.
Pinto beans made with the left over ham bone from Christmas. Black pepper, some sweet peppers, celery, carrot, onion, sage, rosemary, and thyme. Yummy in the tummy (and a bit breezy elsewhere ).
My beautiful 14 year old daughter made supper tonight, spicy spaghetti and 3 cheese garlic bread, which just happens to be her favorite meal.
We had Wild Warthog Thai Style Spicy Curry Mussels from Tampa Bay Brewing Company today ... They were fabulous and we will have them again!
Have a bottle of Yellowtail Shiraz on the go, ordered some Chinese Food since I'm VERY SICK OF FREAKIN RATIONS. Food you can cook in your armpit is not my forte.
Went to a diner in downtown STL for lunch called the White Knight. It was the best burger and conversation I've had in years. I had the pleasure of eating with my grandpa who has frequented the diner for over 70 years. Such a great time!
