A desert island disc:

 

We went dancing with another couple last night at a club which shocked the daylights out of me - the DJ is from Cameroon, and he was playing some AWESOME dance music like most of these songs which I know. It felt great for us because we both prefer anything in French. No bragging intended, but I'm a very good dancer especially if I enjoy the music. Oh, my wife was getting a LOT of eyes on her as well!

 

No link, but Audioslave on Pandora. I'm sad that the Chris Cornell work is now finished.

 

Heard the kids across the street cranking this on the car stereo. Good times.

 

What's funny... I almost linked that video to that post. Hilarious. I love that track.

 

At a coffee shop in Phnom Penh. Cohen had plans to play here which went extremely awry. So didn't see him but got probably one of the rarest recent Cohen posters out of the debacle.

Your post spoke to me, inspirational words.
I almost saw the band play live years ago. They were part of an all day festival in Atlanta. They arrived in time, but their gear didn't, so a bow and they left the stage.

I appreciate that. That's what the whole "What's the worst that could happen?" Joke is really about. Some blood? Scars? Laughter? Chagrin? Learn a new skill? Learn something about oneself? That's all that's at stake most of the time. 99% of our paralyzing fears never materialize into the disasters we imagine.
