As late as 2010 Motorhead were releasing great Rock & Roll. They are the model of consistent quality !!!
My wife LOVES this song! (She's Israeli of Moroccan origin, that's why!) Cheikh Mwizo singing "Ayn Ba'Olam Kmo Marokayim" (There's Nothing in the World like Moroccans)
Motorhead is the only band I know of that has be classified under Punk, Heavy Metal, Thrash Metal, Speed Metal and Rock & Roll. Take the song Crazy Like A Fox for example. It starts of with a great hard rock guitar riff and then settles into a groove for the verses and chorus. I love the Chuck Berry influenced riff by Phil Campbell during the chorus and there's even a freakin harmonica after the brief guitar solo. Motorhead are legends !!!
Sam Mangwana from Congo-Kinshasa singing this awesome song "Transberos". It's an oldie and a goldie - my wife heard me singing it when I was showering!
This song blows me away - there's something about it that reminds me of the summer of last year. Mahliathini & Mahotella Queens from South Africa - I'm In Love With a Rastaman. Enjoy!
What do you get when you combine Chuck Berry and The Ramones ??? You get Going To Brazil by Motorhead. If you don't like Motorhead, You don't like Rock & Roll.
A couple of years ago my wife and I, my inlaws, and my brother-in-law and my sister-in-law went to Israel on a hiloula which is a religious pilgrimage. We went to the tomb of Rabbi Ya'akov Abouhaceira, of blessed memory. He is regarded and revered as almost a saint by the Moroccan Jewish community. The Moroccan Jews refer to him as "Baba Sali." Cheikh Mwizo sings this song in Moroccan Arabic, with a few Hebrew words - I love this song and the melody!
Weird, I know, but...someone mentioned Fatboys and Slims and it made me think of Fatboy Slim. This is an amazing video: Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk
