    Blast from the past....

    Certainly heirs to outlaw country... Jason and the Scorchers from 85. One of the first alternative country acts, and in my mind, influenced a generation in Nashville.



    Another great alternative country act, now defunct, was Denver's own Rexway. Google "Rexway County 10"

    How about a little bluegrass rock crossover? I was at this show. They killed.

    Roosevelt Collier was the "Artist at Large" and sat in on the steel with every headliner that played for the whole three days. He is just freaking awesome.
