    Blue Oyster Cult......Specters album
an underrated album with a few lesser efforts and some really solid songs that do not get airplay outside of Godzilla!

Is that the album where Will Farrell plays cowbell? Chris Walken did a great job of producing that one.

No.Don't Fear the Reaper was on the album Some Enchanted Evening.
And the cowbell comments make most BOC fans wince.

I like BOC. Godzilla. Cities on Flame With Rock and Roll. I grew up on Long Island saw them several times in the late 70’s. The SNL sketch wasn’t funny because of cringeworthy Will Ferrell. It was Chris Walken who made that sketch. So lighten up guys. No one is questioning your manhood.

    p.s.
I have liked Walken from his earliest stuff in the 70's til today.

No apologies needed. The humor in your comment went over my head. I have at times exhibited what some people would describe as being dense. This was one of those times. It's all good.

This song has been covered many times but Richard not only reworks the musical arrangement, his is the only version that swaps verses so that the drama of being in love with a married woman is saved for later in the song. It's brilliant . John Gorka performs Richard's version.
