They are such a great band, great lyrics, and they have taken Synth Pop to a whole new level. Was listening to the Judgement album this morning while shaving.
So it would seem: The Worst Songs of the Mellow '70s. Not by choice; airport muzak. As if a 3 hour flight delay weren't bad enough.

Well I've just got through playing the song, though I didn't use the slide like Mississippi Fred does...
Inevitably I'm listening to Mozart, Bach (or some other Baroque or classical composer), to George Winston, or George Strait (I am a Texan after all!).
The state of Utah celebrates Pioneer Day today in honor of those men and women who crossed the Great Plains. Here's a traditional folk song in that spirit, sung by the Mormon Tabernacle Choir.
I had seen them open for Depeche Mode, was a great show, they actually sounded better than DM. No one has influenced me musically more than DM, but since Alan Wilder has left the band, they just are not the same.
That was the first place I herd of them as well, we really have similar tastes in music kinda scary how similar.
"New Wave" had just started while I was in HS. I went from a long haired metal head to Synth Pop fan overnight. I am a bassist and Keyboardist, always wanted to be like Geddy Lee, but as cool as Paul Stanley. I realized that with my Moog Source, Taurus Pedals, Oberhiem OB-Xa and my Roland drum machine that I did not need the other musicians, that sold me. I could be a man one act. I find current there are great current synth bands if one looks. Not sure if you are a fan, but shoud check out And One, another favorite band out of Germany, also IAMX, which is Chris Corner from the Sneaker Pimps.
