    Maria Farantouri singing Apagoghi, which is one of my favourite songs from the years I lived in Thessaloniki, Greece. This is funny because my wife enjoys it also and although her knowledge of Greek is not too good she sings this song very well and either she or I would sing it to our daughter to help her get to sleep when she was a baby. The melody is so joyful. :)

    I had the great good fortune of hearing Carlos Barbosa-Lima perform at the University of Pennsylvania back in the '70s. My guitar teacher invited me to go and I will never forget what a fine player Barbosa-Lima is.
