Man you couldn't have picked a better video to think of me...I'll give you a run down pic by pic from the video... After the album cover Pic 1: I lived in one of those houses on the water on the lower left side of the bridge.. Pic 2:Ciragan Palace, I played a Jazz Club in there for 2 years. Pic 3:Thats Beyolu, the section of town were most the Jazz clubs are... Pic 4,5 Bosphorus...spend most my free time there Pic 6: When "cyb" from the Den came here a couple months ago his hotel was right next to those Pic 7: the tall tower in the center is Galata Tower...built around 500ad...at the foot of it is Nardis; a Jazz Club were I will be playing this wednesday. Pic 8: This is the Aya Sophia, a Greek Orthodox Church built in 500ad.. Pic 9,10,11,12 spent time at all these places... Pic 13: that castle in the back on the left, is where "cyb", wife and my wife and I had one of the best fish dinners ever.. Pic 14 DolmaBache, where Ataturk the 1st president of the Turkish Republic, produced the 2nd Jazz Concert outside of the U.S. in 1926-Sydney Bechet, making Paris and Istanbul the first 2 cities outside the U.S. to have Live Jazz... Pic 15 last pic...a better pic of the Galata tower... Yeah I'm all over that slide show..
