The Aristocrat was a nightmare with abysmal communication from the seller who refunded me the money. I feel he realized he priced it too low at $80.............I may NEVER own one. That's all.............Better days are coming

I have bid on things before that someone didn’t know what they had then they stopped the auction and sent me a note saying someone told them what it was and they restarted at a higher bid. Maybe that’s what happened.

 

It was a BIN listing, yes? And after you purchased it he decided he didn't want to sell it to you and just refunded your money? I would definitely leave negative feedback on that as well as reported to eBay. They always say when you commit to buy something, it's a contract and you must pay. The same applies to sellers.

 

Someone probably messaged him and offered him more. Its a growing practice

Sorry to hear that Dave, I know it really sucks when that happens. I had a buyer pull that on me last year with a Gillette Toggle. I was so excited to actually get a toggle and the price was really good, then less than an hour later the sale was canceled in my money was refunded. Wow was I pissed off & I have little doubt that somebody probably messaged them after the sale and offered them several times what I paid. To make matters worse, for whatever reason I could not leave negative feedback on that seller.

Dave you just need to get a bigger single shelf . I know there are some that are about 24 feet long....

 

There are quite a few on the auction site right now and some are in the low 2 digits and a few are BIN ... Might want to check them out...
