I'm not sure Gary on comparing those 2. I just know the A1 and A2 are the best I've used and keep using them versus the C's I've had.

well,..further research tells me my newly acquired set isn't the silver vb2 set,but an ornate vb1 set.not to worry.vb2 razor on the way as well,without a case.

A 1945/46 Aristocrat case for a 1946/47 Aristocrat which just arrived. The cloth will need to be reglued a bit on the lower section, but it was only $7.50 plus $5.00 shipping.

 

Let's see the inside blade tray and figure out if it's a 46 OR 47...

I have a VB1 like that in a wood case. It's my favorite Auto-Strop.

 

Hmmm... I'll see what I can do with the one I have coming in and a little glue, but I may be in touch.

 

Ok, so i bought this on a whim because it looked really nice. Im not sure if its a mismatched set and if has value. $30 shipped seemed ok? I dont know straights but let me know if i did ok. Lol im hoping i made out like a bandit. Haha

very cool.unfortunately the razor in my set has a broken blade stop.but i have a caseless vb2 razor on route to fill its place.
