I really can't seem to find much information on this razor and it may turn out to be nothing special at all but it was worth a gamble as I was the only bidder.

 

I almost bid on it and i couldnt find anything either so i passed. But i was super tempted!

Waiting on some replates to come back. A short combed new that will go in my Bostonian case for display, an old type for a pocket case, and a new short comb plated in Palladium as one to be put into rotation.

 

They look amazing!

Backroads does a really good job. My replates are pretty much for me. I would never try to sell them as original, but I really like shaving with a freshly plated vintage piece of gear.

 

Yup yup I feel the same way. I’ve sold replated it in the past but I identify them as that. I’ve never tried to pass them off as original.
