Thanks Gary. They do look like cousins don't they. I won't know until I've got it in hand, but I believe this Rotbart will weigh much less than the Popular.
ARKO was my choice of soaps this morning. Simple, cheap, & always an outstanding lather. I don't even mind the scent either.
i am loving this stuff.lately.a bunch of soaps/creams i have are hitting the 5 year mark.giving some away, tossing others.i have a few i will repurchase over time.mostly tobs and stirling.i am done with the rest.this batch of arko will last me years.

Found an ivory H.I.S shave bowl, sent an offer with free shipping. Now to find a black one at a good price.............
A special from Razorock.....Italian shaving soap in a glass jar(8.5 oz). Apparently 3x-milled, but they say it's SOFT. How can that be? I suppose I'll find out, but any comments are welcomed.
Here are all my vintage containers i use to store creams and soaps Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
When I get the ones I'm waiting for, I'll have 11 wood bowls, 2 H.I.S. bowls, 4 Old Spice mugs and the rest still in their regular containers. I should stop getting any more, unless they're cheap. If you see a black H.I.S. bowl, let me know, if inexpensive.
I was going to bid on it, but I've seen those wood bowls go for a good amount of change and didn't want to risk the bidding to go high. Plus with the brush, I just decided to pay the buy it now price. About $21.00 shipped seemed like a great deal to me.
Thanks Gary. But unfortunately, the original factory in Italy went under due to the pandemic. I have been buying NOS versions of the tripple milled soaps wherever I can find them.
