I should have added it to the first order. Clever of them to offer only the third, and arguably the most useful, of the five volume set at a discount. It's bound to sell customers on the rest of the set. This is the third volume of reprinted excerpts from 30 years worth of "Woodworker" magazine. All of the articles and most of the drawings were written and done by Charles Hayward, the editor of Woodworker. This volume covers wood joinery techniques.
Do you have "AUDELS CARPENTERS AND BUILDERS GUIDE" (1-4)? Very informative and interesting read. I liked them so much I accidently bought two sets for my Dad(1939 and 1946 editions).
I have them in digital format, but I've been keeping an eye out for an early edition set at a good price. I do have the 1949 Audel's Welders Guide.
Saw this and realized the seller had a pretty low price on this and had to get it. Avon shave bowl with original shave soap..........
I have one just like this in red. I couldn't pass up a blue one. It should look great with a cashmere knot!
As soon as I saw this for $20.00 plus shipping, I had to get it. The outside is kind of worn, but who knows, it could've been carried around a lot by a soldier...........
