I bought my first bifocal eyeglasses(intermediate strength) while experimenting with the best eye glasses for viewing my laptop computer + while watching TV in a sitting position at the same time. I do have designated computer glasses but when watching Tv they sit on the end of my nose while looking downwards but do not correct my distance viewing that is almost 20/20(I can get by). Progressive lenses do not work that good on the computer so the only way I figured was go with bifocal glasses and was amazed how much better the viewing channel width is for my eyes. Bifocal eye glasses work well as long as the top of the computer screen is lower then the top of your eyes, then the sweet spot is easy to find + not a lot magnification in the bifocal when combined with my prescription. Did a little research before buying them and could not be happier. With bifocals(intermediate strength) your eyes have to be higher than the top of the computer screen by either moving the chair up or using a laptop that works well with a excellent viewing width channel for my 15" laptop. First time buying eyeglasses from Eyebuydirect (EBD), they have excellent selection in large or extra large frames + quality seems very good IMO. Light weight glasses are important for computer eye glasses, these frames are 8 grams, aluminum front with titanium temples make for excellent glasses. With frame(Celsius) and lenses are 18 grams combined, that is light weight!
At first I thought that was a pulp paperback novel. iKon has only been around about 10 years, according to their website -- but that box looks much older. Let us know how it shaves. Thanks. EDIT: I googled it -- looks like the box is designed that way to look old, lol.
Couldn't go wrong for the price ..... probably sell or trade it. I hesitated almost a whole 3 minutes.
Let us know what you think of it. I Find mine a little Aggressive even on the lower setting. Like 3. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Interesting, because I find the 3 setting on most 6-setting adjustables is perfect for me. Mine is due to be delivered today, and I hope to shave with it tonight. I'll let you know what I think.
I added now a new review about Ikon Veteran on Safety Razors section, if you want you can read my review over there

I know this isn't shave related but... I'm setting up a jointer that hasn't been used in over 15 years and abused for years before that. It's was a gummy, grimly thing that had wrong bolts and broken parts to boot. not sure how it was used to do anything. Anyway. So I'm gonna see if I can get this thing WORKING RIGHT. I've cleaned and lubricated the unit and installed new blades, parts and bolts. I didn't have a persission straight edge that would work or a weighted dial indicator to do the job right. I thought the straight edge I have would do, but it's not up to the task tolerance wise and my dial indicator is for my table saw and router and has a ball point insted of a flat plate. So I'm waiting on ... And Designed for setting exact height adjustments of jointer knives and accurately setting jointer cutting depth. I already have a persission square I use to set square on other equipment, so I'm good there. I've never set up a jointer before and seeing this one was a hot mess before I cleaned it up, well.... Wish me luck. tp
