Vintage razors are just one of my hobbies, another is collecting unusual paperweights set in Lucite/acrylic. Should be arriving tomorrow.

Thanks. I wasn't in the market for one, but I paid $10 shipped. Couldn't pass it up. I'm told it works fine, but it does have plating loss on the head. Would it be worth $60 to send to Back Roads Gold?

Well, this will be my first British Gillette. I'll see how I like the shave, first. In the past, anytime I looked for a British Gillette the prices were way too high. When I search, I set location to North America, but I've never seen anything but perhaps a common British Aluminum Tech for anything near as low as 10 bucks.

I bought my first bifocal eyeglasses(intermediate strength) while experimenting with the best eye glasses for viewing my laptop computer + while watching TV in a sitting position at the same time. I do have designated computer glasses but when watching Tv they sit on the end of my nose while looking downwards but do not correct my distance viewing that is almost 20/20(I can get by).
Progressive lenses do not work that good on the computer so the only way I figured was go with bifocal glasses and was amazed how much better the viewing channel width is for my eyes.
Bifocal eye glasses work well as long as the top of the computer screen is lower then the top of your eyes, then the sweet spot is easy to find + not a lot magnification in the bifocal when combined with my prescription. Did a little research before buying them and could not be happier. With bifocals(intermediate strength) your eyes have to be higher than the top of the computer screen by either moving the chair up or using a laptop that works well with a excellent viewing width channel for my 15" laptop.

First time buying eyeglasses from Eyebuydirect (EBD), they have excellent selection in large or extra large frames + quality seems very good IMO. Light weight glasses are important for computer eye glasses, these frames are 8 grams, aluminum front with titanium temples make for excellent glasses. With frame(Celsius) and lenses are 18 grams combined, that is light weight!

At first I thought that was a pulp paperback novel.
    :signs021:
iKon has only been around about 10 years, according to their website -- but that box looks much older. Let us know how it shaves.
    Thanks.

EDIT: I googled it -- looks like the box is designed that way to look old, lol.
