    A 1947 Gillette Super Speed. No-notch winged center bar. It looks like it has a creased baseplate. It was advertised as a 48/49. :signs136:
    I already have a 48/49 SS, and a 41 Ranger Tech, so it will be interesting to compare.

    I just noticed a few listings, both sold and still going on, for 1947s that clearly are not -- they have a notched center bar.

    I should get an order I placed with Dana Fragrances either today or tomorrow. I am getting English Leather, British Sterling and Canoe aftershave splashes; I know they’re the modern versions and not as good as their vintage counterparts but I thought, why not.
