I am waiting on a used shaving history book from Amazon to arrive, King C. Gillette, the man and his wonderful shaving device. I am almost needing a new blade so when the book arrives August 1st--6th, I will put a new blade in my Gillette slim handle shaver it being about 30 days, will probably not be a Gillette model despite having King C Gillette with most being the newer made in China blades as I prefer the Personna Made in USA 100 pack either my older 2017 era or my newer 2024--2025 blades from same company. The King C Gillette blades tend to be kind of thin blade and thus wear out quicker even compared to even a modern Persona 2024--2025 blade that is slightly thinner than the older 2017 era Personna blades I have.

above the tie (att) open comb S1 slant with an atlas -standard- handle (which Shane tells me is similar to their S2 Kronos which was discontinued), filament open comb slant and some oubliette star jelly (i believe the star jelly is a mixture of balm and splash) both from paa, fatip grande open comb in blackish gun metal from shave nation.

Cool My dad had the Timex version of this watch in the white background for years until the mid 2000's but he replaced the metal band with some kind of tan fabric one in 2001 right after moving to South Dakota from Wisconsin due to South Dakota winter where he had to let the watch warm up before removing one tome, he later in 2000's around 2004 had the same band on a blue and black model before stopping using a watch for his cell phone in 2008--2009 or so.

 

The book came in and I shaved after I got the book, accidentally grabbing one of my few left of my early run King C Gillette brand from back end my 2017 Personna made in USA 100 pack for shaving and going with it because of the book that came in.

 

I'm thinking of trying a Sifu strap. Funny many years ago I gave up records for CDs and watches for my cellphone. Eight years ago I got a turntable ..... now I have three. A few years back I picked up a Wakmann pocket watch.

We'll see this takes me.
