I am taking a chance on a new soap company, Bufflehead Soap Co., out of Nashville. I am trying not to order every new soap I hear about these days, but this one really piqued my interest: one of the saponified fats in the formula is duck fat!



I went with a scent called Islamadora that sounds like a unique bay rum: basil, bay, cedar, grapefruit, honey, orange, rose and tobacco

Bought this NOS/NIB Schick.
I think it might be a Schick Platinum DE - which would make it rare and having it in it's original box unopened would absolutely justify the $17 I spent on this.
(If anyone Schick-savvy can identify it I'd love to hear).

Bad thing: I think I'd feel very bad about opening it up

I apparently have to packages out for delivery today.
One is my long awaited Anherb ASB that has been in transit from India for 4-5 weeks now, and
One contains my SE L'Essor and Thiers-Issard straight razor.

That's all good - but the bad thing is that both seems to have been sent with registered mail...and I won't be there to sign for them

1) A Schick Platinum in unopened box
2) A Schick Platinum NOT in an unopened box so that I can use one
3) A Gillette toy truck

 

Thing is...will you have the heart to open it up...or will you decide to keep it as-is and then find one that's opened so that you can shave with it?
