Picked up this, I believe, Rocket for $20. Supposedly in great condition and w/ original red box with "Rocket" on it.

I guess it's a Superspeed Rocket from the 40's unless someone more knowledgeable can correct me.

It's a razor I more than likely will just try out as I'm curious about it but will probably sell off by year-end.
Looks real purty though.

I ordered a metal razor/brush stand and an EJ DE89 kelvin yesterday.....

 

For the first time in quite a while, nothing.

Which finish for the FaTip?

 

It's this one. Bought it for buddy as he didn't want my Grande Anthracite (not into black razors) so hope it likes this one. I already have the Anthracite and 3 Joris so do not need another one.

 

I heard it's a lot like penguin fat!

 

Just bought a Maggard MR5 and an Omega S10018 brush. And a new offering from Folsom & Company Shady Past, if you haven't tried F&C yet this would be a good time.

 

Great choice - out of all the Maggard handles I think the MR5 is the best looking one.

Btw, you might want to do this little maintenance trick to your MR5 handle when you get it - and before you put a head on it: Ungunking Mr5 handle

 

I'm thinking about putting it on the ikon slant? Or my Edwin Jagger DE89. I really like the look also, so it very well could bounce around a bit.
