What are you waiting on to arrive...?

Ordered a sampler of B&M soaps, a new iKon Shavecraft 102 and a few different blades to try.

 

I'm laughing because BM means something completely non-soap related to me.
I assume you mean Barrister & Mann.

 

I know what you mean. But at least I put the "&" in the middle. Abbreviations carry their own risks.

My updated waiting-for-list is;

1) A very dirty Lerseche (#31/32)

2) A Gillette Rocket (not quite sure what model)

3) A whole lot of razors (4-5+ of them) w/ some sort of Gillette Aristo)) bought as a lot

4) King Oscillating blades

5) An inexpensive $17 Gillette Rocket

6) A clean Leresche Model #31/32

7) A Le Tourise No. 2 (excited about that one)

8) Three Swedish razors: Strivel, Swing and Matador

9) A Gold Schick Krona with four other razors that came with the lot


Realization: I need to shorten my "1 week 1 razor" to "2 days 1 razor" soon if I am to get through them ALL this year so I can sell off the majority of them.

 

it should be here tomorrow, I'll post pics on the haul.

 

Please do, they are tricky to date but if it's vintage it's often possible to get it down to a 10-15 year time frame at least.

For the Gibbs remember that the blade mod can be super-easy: just cut off the blade edges

 

Well shaving purchase escalated quickly. I was going to wait at least a week but didn't last more than several hours. I'm joining the straight razor club and am waiting on a Whipped Dog sight unseen as well as a bench strop from the awesome @Drygulch . The bad part is I'm already looking for more stuff to buy...this never happened with DE....what's going on!?!?!?!?!?!?

The Kabrand is a DE in its original case. Ive been reading of the different mods for the Gibbs most of which are quite simple (once I get the use of my right hand back). Me and the Dremel don't get along left handed

 

a) I'm happy to see that your RAD has died down,
b) That's a great looking razor - love the end of that handle.

 

There's a simple 10 secs mod that just requires a scissor and no fancy cutting (two straight cuts I believe).
I can dig it up for you if you want it.
