Kentucky is beautiful country. Was down at Ft Knox for awhile and spent almost every weekend fishing along the Green River. Some of the best fishing I've come across in my life.
Yea, I love it, too! The mountains & lakes, etc.. The Licking River flows northward, behind our home. Wildlife abounds. We're about 6 miles from the Ohio River, & Cincinnati! I've Been down Green River a lot2. We lived in Mount Olivet, Ky. for a while (smallest populated county in the state), if 1 car went down the road in a week we considered it a 'busy week'...2 cars in a week was almost a 'traffic-jam!' I used to shave & bathe with "Well-Water" heated on an old Pot-Bellied-Stove! I was in my mid 30's, then. Now we live in a nicely nestled-away place just outside the city...the road dead ends before it gets to our home. We're about 300 yards from the river, & there's a big field between us & the river! Theres a huge wooded hollow on one side of us, which we own, And, there's only one house off on the other side! Now, if we see 2 cars up the road in one week we know they're lost; because up "YONDER-STREET" a 'POSTED' sign reads, "NO OUTLET!" And, our property is gated & guarded by our 2 (Pit Bull) dogs, & a good collection of some "things" other than "Razors & Blades;" some of which my wife & I carry "Legally!" :bang:Oh; I'm still waiting for my "Burma Shave Brush," and one more (I think) "Auto Strop" Razor, & some Feather SE Blades!
For the first time since February I am waiting for absolutely nothing. This NBJ might actually help soften my AD 's.
Couldn't pass up two highly regarded soaps/creams to try out that are new and at the delivered cost of $26 Castle Forbes Lavender Essential Oil Shaving Cream and Reef Point Test Depth.
Added two things to my waiting-on-list: 1) A French Apollo DE set w/ box, blade case and blades to finally complete the set I have. 2) A..uh..third...Schick Platinum DE still in case
I'm not quite sure. Now that I have three of them in unopened boxes I might have a display plan for them
Yes it is, thanks. There may be another surprise so it's good that I'm on the sidelines for the rest of the month. One thing for sure staying away from EBay and TSN BST has helped put a damper on my purchases. I'd love to make it to the NBA with no more buys.
Great looking brush. I am envious. I immediately thought of you when they announced the date the brush would be sold and knew you would be doomed for NBJ.
