What are you waiting on to arrive...?

I ordered a red tip just to see how it does. I love how smooth my superspeed is but want a little closer shave than it can give. If it works out I'll probably make it my travel razor since I generally like long handled razors and the red tip is more compact that my other razors.

 

Probably, it would be far too awkward for a shaving brush.

The Omega 10066 Boar @Boojum1 picked for his was a really nice knot. Really worked great on the install. Maybe Mark will chime in with his thoughts.

 

Hmm...it WOULD be interesting to have one 400-badger and one 400-boar....

 

Cannot say enough about the Omega 1066 Boar. Recommended by @clint64, it's the perfect knot for the Rubberset 400. Not too thick, not too tall and yet very economical.

 

I wish I had that one in my 400-unmarked. I used a knot from a Omega 49 and really had to open the collar up a lot to make it work. The 10066 just dropped right in. And given the price and no mods on the collar, it would be easy to change it out if you didn't like it.

 

Would you happen to have a straight-on photo of it?

 

I'll do it for you but let me get my back well. With any luck it will be better by the start of the second week of August.
