Picked up this wood case with glass window. Intended for pen collections...but I got the specs of it and it should also work really well to hold my small straight razor collection that is currently scattered over a couple of shelves
A full size (4oz) bottle of Royall Vetiver. The wife picked up on me moaning about running out of my favorite Royall Sample sized aftershave.
Waiting on this little Solid Set brush in original canister. Set me back $14 but it looks like it's actually in usable condition.
Checking the list of arrived items it looks like I still have three out there. So, the following are still on their way. 1. Schick Injector blades, pack of 7. 2. 110 Russian blade pack. It's actually sitting at the sort facility for St. Louis in Hazelwood this evening. Took a bit longer than usual to leave Moscow but it's close. 3. TSD Lanolin soap, Bay Rum variety. Purchased today with the consolation gift for the raffle. My first TSD product. Looking forward to it! Edited - Actually a fourth item. Blades from tryablade.com including a variety pack of SE blades to use with my 1912 Gem and 1914 Lather Catcher along with some other DE's I haven't tried yet.
Good list - some interesting goodies there. I checked mine as well, and it appears I have this inbound; 1) Prototype synthetic brush from the UK that I got invited to try out, 2) Three Gillette razors where one appears to be a single ring with the "G in D" stamp, 3) A very shiny 1920's French Lather catcher, 4) Another Elgin razor. In box w/ papers 5) "NIB" cased Fatboy w/ all papers 6) Wood case w/ glass window for straight razor display/storage 7) Three Mike's Natural Soap's shampoo bars 8) Some coating stuff for vintage razor wood handles, 9) Quorom EdT 10) Yet another NIB, unopened Schick Platinum DE 11) Solid Set vintage shave brush I think that's it.
Well as much as you usually have in transit I'd think a spreadsheet or guidance from UPS would be necessary. Some very nice items there. #5 really grinds my gears. I think I saw that one and gave it serious thought. One like it anyway.
I suspect it has something to do with your tendency to post unique items and comment on multiple threads on a variety of different shaving forums. I'm starting to think that the "Darkbulb" personna is a group effort by a small cadre of dedicated collectors.
