I saw that I ebay but didn't bid on it. I wasn't sure if the brush was truly a Rooney or just a really nice looking brush that got paired up with a Rooney Display box. It is an interesting find.
I'm glad you didn't bid. The sticker marks it as a Rooney as surely as the name "Rooney" marked on the brush would. I've only seen that particular sticker on very old lightly used or NOS Rooney brushes. The handle style is odd though. Looks more like an old Kent "V" series handle than anything I've seen from Rooney.
Aye, me too. I thought it would be a candidate for this thread. http://theshaveden.com/forums/threa...ssed-climbing-into-insanely-high-level.46797/
Waiting on this Personna Floating head. In package (missing blade pack). Paid a princely sum for it though... $39 shipped. Btw, I know there are a few people looking for this razor and the same seller is also selling a pristine looking one - sans box - for $35 w/ free international shipping.
The one still listed appears to be cracked on top behind the head. Look carefully before hitting BIN.
Got a reply and he said it was a smudge/reflection as be just checked it and it looked good. You guys are quick though - it just sold
Waiting for this vintage (circa 1910) shaving cream pot lid to arrive from England. Creme d'Amande is French for "almond cream." I want to use some of the graphics for a project I've been working on.
I'm waiting for "OCTOBER," so I can 'BUY-ANOTHER-VINTAGE-SAFETY-RAZOR!" http://www.m2binflatable.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/09/M2B239-citrouille-gonflable-.png (Pumpkin With A "BEARD!")
I do. I have a couple of mugs but I wanted this Burma Shave mug in honor of Gary and the Vintage Williams Project.
