I got a sealed empty plastic bag in a sealed padded envelope from them. The bag had a factory part number on it. I think a bonehead warehouse worker pulled an empty bag and shipped it. Amazon gave an immediate refund

Picked up a NOS Yardley soap in wooden bowl - and even the original box.
The bowl is full and the plastic cover is actually still in place.
Heard good things about this old soap so now I need to do some internal struggle if I should use it or keep it as is......oh who am I kidding, of course I'll use it :D

Really happy to pick up a Gold Gillette Slim Twist in box, like new for $39.
I think this is the DeLuxe model but need to brush up on the Slims a bit....and to figure out if the box is original to the razor, etc :)
(If someone here is more of a Gillette expert than me - not hard to be - and know, I'd love to find out)

I also think this was the last gold-plated DE razor Gillette made.

Also waiting on this little treasure. At $19 shipped it would had been a crime not to get it.

Accidently stumbled across a purchase my wife made for me :happy036:

An NOS late glass mug 04, which if I read correctly was the last shaving mug produced.

Just got this 1914 Hero Lather Catcher a moment ago from a UK Flea - Bay seller for £20.00 and local postage...These are ultra rare...If this isn't NOS I am a Dutchman...Its in pristine condition...Its got a strange in dented comb design...Looks like quite a mild lather catcher..I could sniff the usual collector types hanging around...But hey, it had my name written all over it...;)

Got myself a Simplex and I think it's mostly because of how much I like the shape of the handle.

Good thing about a lot of lather catchers is that they can be used with modern blades. I don't have one of your so can't tell for sure but do keep up posted!
If not, @gssixgun does a mighty fine job honing old hoe blades :)

Yeah, for some odd reason I now have two of them incoming - different knots and handles.
One was a private sale from a member on TSR and this last one is directly from Peter himself - the last one he's selling apparently.
Will be great fun to try, and have, some of these brushes now that they are sadly all gone.

I didnt find much info on Rex lather catchers on the net. I was hoping Billy might chime in.
