Well, this item might be back for sale again. Turns out the head is slightly tilted/bent and trying to see what can be done about that.
Luckily the seller was very honest about it and sent me some additional photos showing the tilt:

I wonder if the base on that is hollow?

 

It looks so to me. You can see the cylinder outline and the bottom edging is also very pronounced.

Part of me wants to snag one and see about filling the base with a contrasting color fill.

Always wondered how hard it is to restore the clear base material up to be less foggy. The ridges in this made me shudder
