I will definitely let you know what I think of them. I think I will get started with the Dr. Harris Windsor w/ my Merkur Progress.
Diamonds! Literally hundreds of them! More than I can count! Of course, they're arranged in neat little piles... ...on a big aluminum plate. Ideal for stone/hone flattening.
First bay purchase in a while, got this old Rubberset brush for 6 bucks shipped. Gonna restore it with a TGN knot.
I won this Ever Ready 500 PB (pure badger) on eBay for $1.74 plus $3.50 shipping. Must have been lightly used as the knot appears to be in great shape. If not, I can always put in a new knot......... Update, I don't think the brush was ever used. Excellent knot which I believe is Silvertip!
Picked up two different vintage Pal injector razors from the UK. I was excited when I got the black one for $5 and then really stoked when I won the auction on the cased one with a minimum bid ($10).
Waiting on birth year razor from Secret Santa. And yesterday I placed an order with Stirling Soap Works for two bath bars, barber shop and Black Cherry and their Hot Apple Cider shave soap.
Looks very similar (albeit in better condition) to the sad old Rubberset (from the pre-sterilized era - circa 1905; anthrax death changed that process!) I restored last year (with a TGN boar knot). I do like the handle shape!
