A parcel from the seller arrived today. It has an antique milk bottle in it. The seller sent my razor to the person who bought the milk bottle, and sent me the milk bottle. I was really looking forward to refurbishing that razor set. I even went down to the fabric store two days ago, and bought new felt for the lower tray in the case.
The person who got the razor won't respond to the sellers messages. I am really bummed about it. I guess I'll have to wait and see if he will answer the sellers messages, and send back the razor set. Bummer.

Exact same thing has happened to me twice - meaning that the seller sent the wrong packages out and the other person not responding.
Ugh, it's such a disappointment when it happens. Sorry

 

I'm waiting on a pack of Feather blades to arrive. They're supposed to be here on Thursday. It's one of the many brands of DE blades I haven't tried yet.

 

I really like Feathers. I'm interested to hear your take on them.

 

Yes, it is a big disappointment to me. I was waiting for the mailman in anticipation of starting on the restoration project, I even had my ultra-sonic cleaner set up and full of hot water. I really like those Gillette Milords. I just know I would have restored it in fine fashion. Oh well, I will keep the faith, and hope I will still get it.

 

I'll definitely check back in here at TSD to share my opinion of them. I hope they live up to the hype. I know some folks don't care for them, but overall, they seem to be very well liked by DE users.

Good luck waiting until Wednesday to use your new Mongoose. I'd like to know it works out for you.

 

Hard to beat Floïd quality and the price is surely right....Ive got them both and like em a lot.

 

I forgot to mention, I also have three Gillette Super Speeds coming. Two Flare Tips, and a Fourties Style. I usually keep a couple extra Super Speeds on hand for when I need an emergency DE starter kit.
