What are you waiting on to arrive...?

It is very soft. I kept one as a stick and just pressed the other into a container after I got mine. I didn't slice or grate it I just mashed the whole stick down into my container.

 

Tomorrow is going to be a good day. My Route66 soap samples, CJB pain stick and, tryablade artist club blade sampler are all due to come in. I also still have a jewelers loupe for my straights and a Tabac stick coming in from China and England respectively.

 

Been wanting this book about Sir Kenneth Grange's designs for some time (the creator of some of my favorite razors) and snagged this one in new condition for $5 shipped.

A Schick G injector I won at the TSD Raffle, sent to me by @Dzia Dzia . Fantastic looking razor, excellent condition, and Don generously added a pack of blades - thank you very much for this. I will use this razor later today and write about my first impressions in the SOTD thread.

And then I received another straight razor - my first that's not full hollow. I think it is either quarter hollow or near wedge, might have been a 5/8 once but it is a little smaller now. The mark on the shank says "Eduard Wirz Basel", so it's from Switzerland and probably from the early 20th century. Not shave ready (though the seller claimed it would be), so I will send it for honing along with my "Gaelic" razor.

 

Two things on the way:
A Semouge 830 and a Barbaros TR 1 stainless steel razor.

 

A 1958 model of one of these in rhodium. Just got word Friday from RE it's in the postal system......

Anticipating my first shaves with the prestigious Fat Boy.

Still awaiting my Arko tub coming from Turkey. Ordered a tub of Stirling Bay Lime last night. And lastly would be 50 more Gillette Nacet blades.

 

still waiting on my samogue 1305 from Portugal it's been a little over 2 months now. And I ordered 10 Perma Sharp blades because they're supposed to be sharp and smooth

 

I am wait on a ZEVA Stainless Steel 4 Prong Safety Razor and Shaving Brush Stand. It has two standard 12 mm slots to hold my razors and one 25 mm and one 31 mm slots to hold my brushes. It should be here tomorrow (3-14-16) Or, you can think of it as Pi Day (rounded to 4 decimal places.....3,1416)

 

I was sleeping ordering again last night. I ordered a Mikes Coconut shaving bar. I actually thought I was having a dream until I saw my email this morning.

Let me tell you something I live in Florida and you do not want to put anything that smells like Florida water on your body i wash the water off as soon as possible and then splash on some aftershave

Not very shaving related (sorry) - but rather stoked to have picked up a set of Parker 25's (designed by Kenneth Grange...which, I guess does make is shaving related in a way).
One fountain (with the original converer) and one ballpoint pen for about $20 each - this is the blue version.

 

I'm awaiting a Schick Personal Touch set.

 

Very, very nice. Looks like they'll be very comfortable to write with.

 

It's a steel nib so nothing real fancy but supposedly it's a really good writer. Will be real fun to try it out.
