    Yep. The seller noted that is had a copper colored bit on the end of the handle, and assumed it had lost it's plating in that spot. Turns out that spot was just a build up of lacquer where it dripped off the razor. I'm going to leave that spot alone. It's as close to mint as I've ever seen. I would call it NOS, but it didn't come with the five blade packet. A situation I hope to rectify soon.

    Wow what a find. Congrats again. It's good to know you finally found a razor you REALLY wanted in the condition you wanted.

    Thanks, and I'll be shaving with it after dinner. :)
    I've heard these were really mild, but I'm hoping that it's more like a super speed than a tech.

    I didn't think it was mild. I have a tech and it's definitely not like that. I would say if we had a scale like hot sauce... It would be medium not mild not hot but medium.. But I'm not experienced like you . Have fun !!

    Yep. I put a Feather in it and had as nice a shave as I've ever had.

    Bought this to make it a complete set. It's actually pretty tough to find five pack blades. Most of them are 20 pack blades. This set is a five pack, still wrapped in cellophane.

    I made the mistake of looking at the sellers other items. I know next to nothing about Gillette DE's, and no one is willing to tell you about buying them...

    The sort of questions I want to ask are not really allowed in most forums, I know the prices of all injectors, shavette's and cart razors but I wouldn't have a clue on the market price of a Flare Tip, Slim Adjustable etc :( ...

    Here's an idea. My first vintage DE's were a flare tip and Slim and I bought both on the bay as a lot for 25usd. :)
