A 50's Parat for my Rocket collection.

 

Possibly two years ago but nothing since then.

 

Being a noob and not knowing what creams I would like I bought a sampler from the Shave Den Shop. It showed up yesterday and I tried the Prosaro Aloe and Vitamin E



It didn't lather as good as I thought it would. I didn't shake out the brush enough and I think I used too much water. I liked the performance anyway. The shave and scent was nice. I will try it again tomorrow with less water.

I always start with a semi-dry brush and add water as needed to achieve the desired slickness and cushion.

 

Learning as I go and I usually shake the brush good...I was sleepy this morning...maybe a cold shave would have woke my butt up

 

Since day one I have never had an issue lathering any soap. Call it dumb luck

As a cold ice water shaver and former cold water shaver, i approve the idea of cold water shaving wholeheartedly.

 

I'll tell you a funny story I bought my brother an Old Spice mug bought him some Mike's soap pressed the soap into the cup then I cut a piece of wax paper in a circle and pressed it down to cover the soap he's been trying to lather up the soap not knowing the wax paper is still in there so he calls me up and says this soap is horrible I can't get it to lather then about four days later he calls me up and said he found that the wax paper was still in the bottom of the cup protecting the soap. So tell me that isn't embarrassing

Waiting on my order of Stirling EM shave soap and AS. Can't wait to receive. For some reason my address got mixed up when placing order. Emailed Rod in the evening, and he got back to me right away letting me know it was fixed. Absolutely great customer service!!
