I ordered RazoRock American Barber Italian Shave Soap and the matching Aftershave.

 

Thanks Robby! I also like to add a lot of water to the lather, it does make it slicker. I ended up getting some samples, but I do like that they have the menthol option.

 

Today i noticed they also offer pre shave oil, ASB, and AS.

 

I saw someone using the PSO and noticed the Emu oil, which sounds interesting, not a very common ingredient, but I give them credit for thinking outside the box and being different. Almost got some balm, but decided to start with the soap first. The shipping was a whopping $2.60, very pleased to see cheap shipping, noticed they have free shipping for first time customers, but since it was so reasonable I just paid for shipping anyways. Its good to support these artisan soap makers out here.

 

Yeah, i don't think it get's cheaper than that for shipping and they are fast too.

 

They are fast! It has already shipped, and should be here in a few days. Really looking forward to trying their soap. I think I got a few different formulas, since one said it has tallow oil in it. Wonder how they differ from one another.

 

Roby....that coupon code still works too...lol. I checked it this morning and ordered an aftershave splash to try out.

 

Saved 5 bucks and used the points I had on my account for another .40 cents. Only cost me 7.10 total shipped. Trying out the Terre d'Hermes scent.

Yes Andrew, i couldn't put it off any longer. I started the Tabac Shave Stick sale thread and had never gotten around to getting it so, time to make good on it.

 

I will be curious to see whether you love it or hate it. The lather is first class and it is a very thirsty soap. It's the scent that will either make it or break it for you.

Just won an eBay auction for this:

$7.99 shipped. I can't tell from the pictures if it's a Gillette or one of the German copies. Definitely missing the top cap, possibly the base plate (I'm not sure about that one; the description says two blades and I can see something under the corner of the lower one). At the price, though I figure it's worth it for the handle and case.

 

waiting on TSD soap sample and M-bomb....this has been looong overdue for me so I look forward to getting to put it to use.

 

I think you'll like it. The scent is pleasant. For me it's a scent that would remind me of my grandfather if he had used it.
