I almost feel bad for the seller. It was listed as a 28-day listing with $0.99 BIN and $3.40 shipping. The shipping is about right, but I assume it was supposed to be listed for more than 99 cents, especially on such a long listing.

I should probably ask over on the Injector thread, but does anyone recognize what series it is?

A Type E will only have 1 patent number on the head, the G will have 2

 

A Mach 3 for old times sake!

It looks like a G1 from the handle. There is a seam on it. That said the patent is the sure way to tell

Unfortunately, the pictures from the listing don't have enough detail to see the patents. Lots of blur and more of the bluish residue (which I hope is just old soap).

This is only my second Injector. Out of curiosity, how does a G1 compare to a J1 (what I have already)?

 

It will be more aggressive than the J. Not overly so though. They are great razors.

I just ordered the "entry-level" straight razor from Koraat in Austria, the "Basic II" with ebony scales:



Ulrik is a really nice guy and provides great customer service - I asked him to replace the brass rivets and spacer with silver rivets and a silver wedge and he'll do that for free. I hope this won't turn out to be an gateway drug - I might be forced to order one of his more expensive custom razors someday

Oh and - my Single Edge razor has arrived in Germany - being processed by customs at the moment.

My first injector. I probably paid a little too much for it, but it was BIN and looked pretty minty. I haven't used one of these since I was about four or five years old and used to play shave with my grandpa.

In the lot there are;
- 33 packs of Schick injector blades (each containing 20 blades) = 660 blades
- 6 packs of old Gillette DE blades
- Some Blue Star SE blades in dispensers
- 2 packs of Gillette blue blades in original dispensers, still wrapped
- 4 packs of Gillette thin blades
- 1 pack of some unknown blade make

 

Looks like enough Injector blades for a few years.
