What are you waiting on to arrive...?

Picked up these three brushes for $5-6.
The one I wanted is the Never-Shed in the middle. It's an earlier model of one that I already have and in rather good condition it seems.
The other two brushes are; Ever-Ready (to the left) and some no-name red-and-white one that seems like it's in pretty decent shape. I'm thinking that down the road I can sell those two for 5-6 dollars and recoup the cost for the brush that I wanted. We shall see.

 

I think Peter raised an eyebrow when I told him not to glue the knot in, basically declined to warrantee the brush. I've had enough knots that didn't fit for me and with a handle this nice I sure didn't want to try and extract it from epoxy. And yeah I've not had one come loose yet! Having said all that this knot will probably be just fine...

 

Took a chance on this brush, I had heard good things.

 

Nothing right now because I'm afraid to order anything because of what's going on with Canada Post.

 

Just bought a gold D.Corrado 2 pce OC. From what I read it's a Dovo razor rebranded. I like the look of it but I have never heard of it. Looks like a merkur

 

Neat, a Gillette open comb on a Merkur handle.

No, it's a vintage Dovo, just so early that the head was styled differently than Merkur today.

 

Oooooh ok. Well thank you for that. I've been trying to find information on it and can't seem to find any.

 

What is up with Canada post?

 

They are in labor negotiations with the union and there was a chance of a strike or lockout. I think they are stable for the next month as they go through arbitration.

They are negotiating but I still don't trust them. They can start playing around with parcels at any time and I wouldn't want to order something and wait until January 2017 to receive it.

 

Canadians are far too civilized to do anything like that..
