What are you waiting on to arrive...?

Yeah, I've used a couple of mine and they shave great. I've seen some techs with bakelite handles, but not this type. Either it's one that's not for sale a lot, or after market. Either way, I like it and on the chance that this type of handle came with some techs, I didn't want to pass it up.

Mispelled, i doubt it. Only one twin also.
I think its a copy, maybe not a bad one. But prolly not a henckels.

Waiting on this razor to arrive, my first dabble into the DOC.

 

A Double Ring sorta of out of the blue. Completely covered in very heavy patina. No idea regarding the serial number as the (novice) seller had not opened the razor. Based on the photo there are no bent teeth and no obvious cracked handle. It also has a well used blade in it so a great potential clue. I rolled the dice on this one because it's coming from the Boston metro area. I will open this package with much anticipation and excitement; but with bated breath.

Not a company on the bay. Was not listed as a DR. I kinda stumbled across it. I'm not saying I stole it. I just decided to take a chance.

No answers for you. This made me laugh though. I had a razor that was an Engles knock off, that was actually a pretty good shaver. @mrchick has it now. Hope this one is a good shaver as well.

 

All of that tarnish indicates to me that it should cleanup really nice. Looking forward to seeing it all cleaned up.
