    And ordered two soaps from Jabonman (Manuel). He was out of the two I wanted (Rosa Bourbon, Vetiver de Haiti) so chose these two:

    A good portion of my gear comes from antique or thrift stores. After a bit of international chat, John @Sparrow located a Suribachi bowl I've been seeking. Off the shelf at this store or one like it,

    a bowl with an symmetric texture pattern. It's a long trip from Osaka, Japan, but I'm going to enjoy lathers from this piece.
