Apparently the biggest difference was that the Regent has no labeling inside the doors, and the 41 aristocrat has the normal 'patent numbers on' message.
Interesting. I thought just same razor difference box. That is older then the two aristocrats I have.
Well my SOC Cherry handle is in country, it went from NY to MA, strange folks at USPS. August 1st is the release of the new Rex Ambassador.
I'll be absolutely cornfuzzled if it is. Dumboozled, no less. It looked to me more like a ball at the end.
I hate to pop your bubble, but Gillette razors have fourteen teeth per side. This one has thirteen, which means it isn't a Gillette. It might still clean up and be a nice shaver and you didn't overpay for two razors. Have fun.
Derek of WildWestBrushworks turned this 22mm handle for my APShave 22 Faux Horse knot. I think the combo will go quite well together. Also pledged with the Supply CO. for their Single Edge V2 and will be getting the Black 3 shave head set. Project was funded in less than 3 hours.
We're on vacation in OH, so, technically, this one is waiting for me to arrive: One of the guys at work who knows I'm into vintage razors said that he would keep an eye out for me when he goes to flea markets. Yesterday, I got a note from him that he had an early birthday present for me- a Clix razor with bakelite case and a pack of Beau Brummel blades. I don't know if it's a bakelite or metal baseplate model but I am psyched.
I just checked, and this isn't always true. I suspect it is with the OLD, but the NEW, for example, have thirteen teeth per side. Both the SC and LC I checked are 13 teeth. Anyway - I'm still going to wait until it's in my hands.
