Having just entered into this rabbit hole and what really seems like a rewarding endeavour, I have ordered myself a starter kit from Fendrihan that consists of the following:
    Merkur HD 34C
    Fendrihan Badger Shaving Brush
    Fendrihan Apothecary Shaving Mug
    Fendrihan Shaving Soap
    Razor and Brush Metal Stand

In addition to that I'm getting some samples and I've included a box of 100 Astra blades and Proraso Green Pre-Post Shave Cream. I wanted to get some splash, but damn, there's a lot of reading on that! My fear is, and I am probably mistaken, that aftershaves, etc., will offend some peoples sensitivities to scent. However, my search will continue to discover a nice mild citrus splash and when I do - that will be on the way too!

Thanks Gentlemen. Derek of WildBrushWorks designed these handles based on my suggestions and tweaks of other handles he designed in the past and cant beat his prices for custom handles; $30 to $40 for the custom 3 pc red one. Knots I already owned and cost was $16 for the Cashmere and Romera knot was $40. Derek does sell Cashmere, Tuxedo knots for a complete handle if you don't want to go through the trouble of finding/setting your own knot.

*sigh*. I have three Parker fountain pens on the way (cheap ones for me to use and lose/give away). Unfortunately, I just had to submit a 'search for missing mail' request for the additional Rolls Razor I purchased. The seller shipped it, and his post office claims they loaded it on the truck; apparently they must have been hijacked :)

Definitely not the sellers fault, so I'm going to have to figure out how I can get reimbursed by E-Bay without it affecting him. (if they don't find it in another week or so)

I've been looking for a while; to say I'm happy is an understatement! :happy093: I couldn't find it on Mr. Razor.
    Techs are awesome!
