How vintage are we talking ? I took a whiff of some 20 something old 4711, and it hasn't lost its scent.

 

It's awesome, but I grew up with it. Every Sunday our mom had us wear it to Church.

Well not waiting anymore this Ardennes coticule arrived a week before I was expecting it to. Gotta love when that happens. They only ship on fridays, so four days Belgium to Missouri. Now time to learn this stone

I'm still waiting for my Rex Ambassador razor... Email said sometime in August.

 

They should be good then. I plan on eventually trying the AS.

Just had a brush restored by @Jayaruh aka Jim. Man did a fantastic job! He's mailing it back to me tomorrow!

 

He does do good work! Looks like brand new!
I only have one of his pieces for now, but plan on more.

 

I've got one of his brushes, JR#52 and I love it. I'd seen pics of some of his restorations so when I bought this I knew I wanted him to do the work. From the pics he sent me I couldn't be happier! Hoping one day to learn to restore my own brushes.

 

Somebody just accepted my lowball offer on a lot of three straight razors. Not even a counteroffer

I bid 5 cents on a 4 dollar shipping lot of three 18mm (they'll fit the smaller turned pieces I have already on hand). Had two days left, and the seller decided to end it early and sell it to me. Weird.
