I just grabbed two more wonderful menthol a-bombs: 1x Stirling Glacial Obsidian SS Jar 1x Stirling Glacial Black Cherry SS Jar (last one until next year!)
Hello,- What you are looking at is what I believe is a 1906 Traveller set. The serial number on the inner barrel starts with a G, but due to the fact that the case has a script logo, and the facts that there are no markings on the top or bottom of the comb guard, and that the serial number is on the inner barrel and not the top of the comb guard, as it would have been if it were a G series 1916 razor, all adds up to an early Single Ring. The G designator is the indicator used at the time of manufacture of gold plating. So, what I have coming to me is, I believe a 1906 Gillette gold Traveller set. Too bad the blade safes are not there. But still a great discovery! Thanks for checking it out. Have a great day all! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Thank you Jorge! I have been wanting an other 1906 Single Ring for a while now. I think I PIFed my other one. The fact that it is gold is a huge bonus. There are very few gold ones in existence. Plus I love the gold plated Gillette's. Have a good day, Jorge!
Those are so cool! I couldn't resist them either a year or so ago. They polish up wonderfully too. Congrats!
So have you ever seen a BIG pile of nasty, that just screams "Come over here and step in me!"? I saw this stinky pile a few months ago and I said "Nope, nope, nope not gonna do it". Well lets just say .... my shoes smell like ... I think it's this one I told the seller I was up for a challenge and made low very low offer ... he accepted. Now Wait until ...
For me, a potential PIF on PAA samples(soap, I believe). That'll help me decide on my "Mad Rush To NB18".
